Suryanar Kovil (Sun)
Dedicated to Surya, the Sun God, with his consorts Ushadevi and Pratyusha Devi, in the village of Suryanar Koil near Aduthurai. It is one of the few historic temples of the Sun God in India and the only temple in Tamil Nadu with separate shrines for all nine planetary deities. Pilgrims usually begin the Navagraha circuit here.
